Galilei Inn

Galilei Inn can be found in an art relic building from the 18. century on the corner of Vaci and Havas street. The building is renovated.
Besides hotel rooms there are flats in the building. Hotel rooms were developed last years, with new equipment. Additional rooms and a separate reception desk will be developed continually, but currently you can find the reception in the restaurant. Restaurant Galilei is on the basement level in a vault.

The rooms are large and clean, with new furniture and parquet.

We can put two extra bed in each room.

Thanks to the pedestrian area our rooms are hardly noisy.

Galilei Inn has an old, intimated vault - restaurant with international dishes. You can have a half-board provision here or have lunch a la carte. Light live music every evening.

We have a new and modern coffee bar with free internet access and a large beamer for movies or sport events evenings. We serve the breakfast here.

Vaci street is the famous shopping street of the city. It is in the historic heart, close to the main sights of Budapest. Most of these you can reach easily on foot or with the underground ( only 1 or 2 stops ). This area is well served by public transportation. The guesthoues is surrounded by hundreds of boutiques, shops, cafés and restaurants.

The attractive parts of the River Danube is less than 30 meters from our hotel. Within a 100 meters you will find the Central Market, the largest and most attractive market in the capital.

ARRIVAL BY CAR:
From motorway M1 / M7:
- Drive in direction City Center
- Cross the Elizabeth Bridge ( Erzsébet híd )
- Make a U-turn to the right and turn left onto the bank of River Danube
- Pass Belgrad Rakpart and turn left by the 3rd street ( Havas utca ) and you will find the guesthouse on the corner of Havas and Vaci street.

From motorway M3:
- Drive in direction City Center
- Turn left onto Hungaria körút ( boulevard )
- Turn right onto Thököly street, pass the street and pass Rákóczi street
- Pass Kossuth street and pass Szabad sajtó street
- In front of Erzsébet hid ( Elizabeth Bridge ) turn onto Belgrad Rakpart and turn left by the 3rd street ( Havas utca ) and you will find the hotel on the corner of Havas and Vaci street.

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN:
From South Railway Station ( Déli Pályaudvar ):
- Take the underground line 2 until the stop Deák tér
- Change onto underground line 3 until the stop Kálvin tér.
- Get out in direction Vámház körút ( Vamhaz boulevard ) and take the 3rd street on your right ( Vaci utca )
- Galilei Inn is on the corner of Vaci and Havas street.

From West Railway Station ( Nyugati Pályaudvar ):
Take underground line 3 until the stop Kalvin ter ( 4.th stop ) and follow as described above.

From East Railway Station ( Keleti Pályaudvar ):
- Take the underground line 2 until the stop Deák tér
- Change onto underground line 3 until the stop Kálvin tér.
- Get out in direction Vámház körút ( Vamhaz boulevard ) and take the 3rd street on your right ( Vaci utca )
- Galilei Inn is on the corner of Vaci and Havas street.

ARRIVAL BY PLANE:
From Ferihegy International Airport:
Take the Airport Minibus ( Shuttle bus ) or taxi.

From Ferihegy terminal 1 take the train connection to the West Railway Station and follow as mentioned above.

Parking:
Parking is available right behind the building for free.

You find the reception currently in the restaurant.
Guests are requested to pay at arrival.
