Crooked Tree Cottage

The Cottage is tastefully decorated and has a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious dining and lounge area opening onto a sea-facing balcony. There is a deck area with seating at the entrance to the cottage with barbecue facilities available on request.
• Room 1: King size/ twin bed, en suite shower, sea facing.
• Room 2: Double bed, en suite shower, sea facing.
• Room 3: Double bed, en suite shower over bath, private entrance.

The elegantly decorated Studio suite is separate from the cottage and has its own entrance. There is a well-equipped kitchen and en suite shower over bath. The main room has a double sleeper couch and a king size bed that can be split to 2 singles. This unit opens onto a balcony with views over the swimming pool and out to sea.

Full English or Continental breakfast is available every morning.

Umhlanga Rocks' main beaches, nature trails, golf courses, casinos and sport facilities are only a few minutes by car.

The massive Gateway Theatre of Shopping, with its 400 stores, skate park, standing wave machine and countless other entertainment choices is a 2-minute drive away.

Other attractions in the area include the uShaka Marine World (with the largest aquarium in the Southern Hemisphere), the Umgeni Bird Park, the Phezulu Safari Park, dolphin viewing and a crocodile farm.

DIRECTIONS - M4 (from Durban)

1.) Take the Umhlanga offramp.
2.) Turn left away from Umhlanga Village.
3.) First traffic light turn right.
4.) Follow the road around to the right.
5.) At the T-junction, turn left into Hilken Drive.
6.) Follow the road around to the right to number 39 Hilken Drive, Crooked Tree Cottage.

DIRECTIONS - N2(from Airport)

1) Take the Umhlanga offramp.
2) Turn right.
3) Take second offramp to Umhlanga Rocks Drive and turn left.
4) Go thru 2 traffic circles and follow the road to Royal Palm Avenue, turn right.
5) At the water feature circle turn left, then first right into Pearl Drive.
6) At the bottom of Pearl Drive you are facing Crooked Tree Cottage.
