Per Train:
International connections deliver you to Zürich or Luzern. You can take the Luzern-Stans-Engelberg Train to Engelberg. The journey from Luzern to Engelberg lasts 1 hour. (35 km)
per Car: Motorway A2 (Basel-Gotthard) Take exit Stans-Süd.Take the main road which serves the whole year to Engelber. From Stams you will need approximately 20 Min. ro reach Engelberg.
