Hotel information: The castle was built at the turn of the 19th century and has been the estate of a German industrial family. It is situated outside the village of Kaplice and 10 kilometers from the Czech-Austrian border. It is an impressive spot in the middle of the unspoiled Bohemian woodlands. An oasis of silence but within a short distance of the well-trodden trails of the tourist hotspots of the Czech Republic in South Bohemia. It is an area with pristine forests and gentle rolling hills, habitat to deer and wild boars. Squirrels are having a field day in the hotel yard. The river Malse with its many trouts runs through our garden. In 2005 the castle was completely refurbished and now has a capacity of 14 comfortable rooms with a bathroom and TV set. Every room has a spectacular view. The hotel is accessible for the disabled.

Room information: All rooms have a view and a private bathroom and satellite television.

Food & beverage: Our chefs are trained in international hotels and on luxurious cruise ships. They use the best local and fresh products. We mean to create a culinary balance between healthy ingredients and gourmet food.

Our restaurant will be closed during week 46 and week 47.

Travel information: When you are on the E 55 from Linz (A) to Prague (CZ), please take 12 km after the border the exit Kaplice and please follow the signs to Malonty. When you are just about to leave Kaplice you will see our yellow sign ”Hotel Zamecek 1500m”.

Cancellation Policy:	If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy:	All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 9.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 14.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy:	No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes:	VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included.
Meal Plan:	Continental breakfast is not included and costs EUR 4.60 per person.
