Lauterbrunnen is located at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains, in the valley of the 72 waterfalls.

Hiking trails or mountain railways take you up to the Schilthorn (Piz Gloria) or the Jungfraujoch (Top of Europa).
In winter the Top-Jungfrau region offers skiers 174 km of slopes.
Interlaken can be reached by train in 10 min, Berne and Lucerne in 1 hour.
