The hotel is situated amidst parkland right by the river Danube, with a view of Pöstlingberg. It is within a short walking distance from the historic centre of Linz with its main square, baroque buildings and narrow streets.
The so-called "Art &Culture Mile" starts directly at the hotel, leading to the convention centre and concert hall "Brucknerhaus" and the Lentos Museum of modern art. In Urfahr across the river you will find a futuristic museum, the Ars Electronica Center.
Many golf courses around Linz can be booked at the reception for a special green fee. Several running trails start in front of the hotel.

Motorway A1 (Westautobahn) exit Linz, then motorway A7 (Mühlkreisautobahn) in direction Prague and Freistadt until the exit "Hafenstrasse". Turn right onto the "Untere Donaulände", and after a 800-metre drive you will see the hotel on your right-hand side.
