The gate entrance fee is ZAR 90 per standard vehicle per stay that takes up to a maximum of 5 passengers, and ZAR 170 for any vehicle carrying more than 5 passengers up to and including coaches.

The Waterberg Mountains outside Bela Bela are renowned for being the backdrop to some of South Africa’s most renowned game lodges, including Mabula Game Lodge. Ideally located 2 hours from Johannesburg and 90 minutes from Sun City, Mabula Private Game Reserve is a malaria free private game reserve spread over an extensive area containing the Big Five.

By Air:
Mabula has no contracted charter company.
The landing strip coordinates are: latitude 24 degrees, 44 minutes, 94 seconds south.
Longitude: 27 degrees, 55 minutes, 46 seconds east.
By Car:
- Take the N1 north past Pretoria.
- Take the Warmbaths exit and follow the Rooiberg/Thabazimbi road for 34 km
- Turning right into the gravel road to Mabula.

From the 1st of May to 31 August 2009 the rate for children in a standard room will be R810.00.
Rate for children in suites:
1st January to 30 April 2009: R1440.00
1st May to 31 August 2009: R1080.00
1st September to 31 December 2009: 1440
What to take:
From October to March take summer clothes and a warm jacket or jumper for the cooler mornings and evenings. From April to September take winter clothes such as a very warm insulated jacket for the cold mornings and nights. Hats, scarves and gloves are recommended. Comfortable walking shoes, track shoes or boots are essential for the bush walks. Sandals are useful for walking around the lodge. Shorts and a t-shirt are needed all year round for the warm midday period. A swimming costume, sun lotion, insect repellent, sun hat, sunglasses and lip balm are recommended.

R90.00 per standard vehicle per stay that takes up to maximum of 5 passengers.
R170.00 for any vehicle per stay carrying more than 5 passengers up to and including coaches

Check In: 14:00 hours Check Out: 11:00 hours Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 45 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 2 years are welcome.
Up to two children from 6 to 11 years are charged ZAR 1080.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
