The menus at the lodge are of a world-class standard, yet served with a traditional flair; breakfast is in a potjie pot or over the coals of a braai, delicately balanced with a European flair to accommodate all tastes. Drinks are served in an authentic calabash and dinner is a delightful social affair.

By Air:
You can fly from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Hoedspruit.
Private charters are available to a private airstrip, the lodge will provide transfers.
Orpen Gate entry, estimated driving time 1.5 hours:
- Take the H7 towards Satara.
- Drive for approximately 6.7 km.
- Turn right onto the S106 dirt road.
- After 1.6 km, turn right onto the S140 towards Talamati.
- After 19.5 km, turn right onto the S145.
- Continue along the S145 for 10 km.
- Turn right at the Hoyo Hoyo sign.
- After 3.5 km, turn right at the signposted T-junction.
- Continue along this road for 4 km and you will find the lodge.
Kruger Gate entry, estimated driving time 2.5 hours:
- Take the H1-2 towards Skukuza.
- Pass Skukuza and take the H1-2 towards Satara.
- After approximately 20 km, turn left onto the S36 dirt road, it is signposted.
- Carry on along the S36 for approximately 39 km and keep right on the S36/S125 at the Hamilton’s no entry sign.
- After 2 km, turn left onto the S36/S125 at the T-junction.
- After 4.5 km turn right onto the S36 at the T-junction.
- After 6.5 km, turn left onto the S145.
- After 2.3 km, turn left at the no entry sign for Hoyo Hoyo guests only.
- After 3.5 km, turn right at the signposted T-junction.
- After 4 km you will find the lodge.

ZAR 30 per person for RSA ID passport holders
ZAR 60 per person for SADC ID passport holders
ZAR 120 per person for other passport holders.

*** Please retain your receipt or permit, as it must be handed back to the attendant at the gate on departure. ***
Please be aware of gate entrance times into the Kruger National Park as they do vary throughout the year, depending on the season. Entrance into the park via the Orpen Gate should be no later than 2 hours prior to the closure time, and via the Kruger Gate should be no later than 3 hours prior to the closure times.

Whilst driving within the Kruger National Park, please adhere to the legal speed limit of 50 km per hour on tarred roads, and 40 km per hour on dirt roads. Please adhere to the Kruger National Park safety precautions and do not disembark from your vehicle, unless you are in a designated area.
Mobile phone signals are only available at the entrance gates and close to Skukuza, it is therefore recommended to make your last necessary calls at the gate upon entry.

If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
