Hotel Barcelona Catedral

very good Hotel,very pleasant design ,recommended if a location in the Barri Gothic is looked for, and also for the other areas of Barcelona.

• Deign , comfort and availibility of the staff.
• To have the possibility for a co ntinental breakfast at a lower price and to improve the quality of the cooked dishes for the price 16 €

It is a perfect location, in the middle of Barcelona. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. I would book again, if the price would be better.

This hotel is excellent value for the money and the location could not be any better. Two things I and my wife were a little disappointed in. First, there ware no english programmes on the TV and Second, no enclosed warm area to have a coffee and cigarette in the morning as we are accustomed to doing. I can imagine that to stay in a warmer month would be more enjoyable. Overall we can and will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. Again, the staff are to be credited with making our stay there most enjoyable.

Great hotel with a wonderful pool area. The service at the bar/restaurant was unfriendly and slow.

An oasis in the middle of a wonderful but busy city - we could unwind on the Japanese-type couches outdoors without hearing the noise of the city, yet we were right around the corner from the Cathedral and just two blocks from La Rambla - unbelievable!! The staff was extremely helpful and competent, as well as bilingual.

• LOCATION, ability to zen out if we so desired, work out room and pool on the roof, friendly bilingual staff and rates - what a bargain!!! WOW - what a find!!! We will return to this hotel when back in Barcelona!
• Not having a top sheet - only the comforter. I know other hotels that have done this, too, but I am not sure why. But that's about the only negative.

The rooms are very modern but too small. Great location.
