Danubius Hotel Gellért

Asolutely excellent. We had a really wonderful time and the Hotel and staff provided far more than we had anticipated. A big thank you to everyone. We will certainly consider returning, and from this experience would most definately consider Danubius Hotels in other cities.

	The comfort, the quality, that it had character and that the staff were so charming. Also the availability of the spa complex was a big plus. Breakfast excellent.

It is a bit strange that such a nice hotel, with 4 * !, has very small, old, not renovated rooms, with old furniture, windows and especially: No air conditioning system, so around 30-34 C in the room ! After a shower was like entering into a sauna and was nearly impossible to sleep ! It is a shame for a 4 star hotel to have such rooms and conditions !

	The spa resort is very nice and good, just the access to it is a bit difficult and long.
	Old style, not nice at all very small room with NO AIR CONDITION ! Slippers for the spa are not provided with the room, only bathrobe and are for sale for HUF 350 (no notice about this in the room, so seen many guests going in athletics..

It's an old and lovely hotel but I'm not sure I would reccomend it to my friends. The Gellert Bath was really a caotic place.

	It's an old hotel with a lot of atmosphere.
	The bathroom needs to be updated! We had dinner one evening at the Brasserie. The food was terrible!

In an excellent situation.Our room on the 3rd floor was comfortable and had a beautiful view overlooking the Danube. Unfortunately the bridge is under repair at the moment! The food was good and the staff very attentive.

	The ambience of the hotel. The spa pools were both interesting and invigorating.
	One waiter in the coffee lounge was less than helpful!

very attractive place BUT SOME SINGLE ROOMS ARE NOISY WITH THE CONDITIONNED AIR OUTSIDE; IT'S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE DU SLEEP. I was happy to obtain another one, one the street, and very pleasant. Of course those rooms have a very interesting price, as we have the access to the thermal place, and a very generous breakfast.

Very 'old world'. Suffers from lack of air conditioning. The staff are very efficient - but not the most welcoming. Rather formal and a bit intimidating to the lone traveller who is not famillier with the hotel.

Very nice hotel, we liked it very much. It would have been excellent with separate beds as you wake up each time the other one turns around. Of course Air Condition is preferable when it´s hot outside even in the night and it´s hard to sleep with an open window and the quite heavy traffic outside. My daugther and her boyfriend planned to go to Budapest in September but the price was rather high then. The precautions were others as well (e g not allowed to cancel the booking without to pay the rate)

	The cleanliness, the staff - very serviceminded, the location (although a quite busy street)very close to the city and Vaci Utca and the beautiful Buda
	Only the beds...when/if you travel with a friend, you prefer to sleep a bit separated and not to close

I stay about 3-4 days a month in hotels for the last 25 years. This time was the worth !!

Nice place with specialty of Spa. Good location and excellent public transportation availablity (especially tram).
