Story writer Hans Christian Andersen is buried here and existentialist philosopher Soren Kierkegaard lies here.
But it's not just this pair which makes 1757 Assistens Cemetery in Copenhagen interesting.
Every Saturday a flea market runs along the walls, from 07:00 to 14:00, local time, between May and October.
It stretches 333 metres along the Assistens Kierkegaard around the cemetery and is half a pavement wide.
Much like other cemeteries around the world its yellow walls have been decorated by graffiti artists.
It might also be worth taking a stroll from one of the cheap hotels in Copenhagen to one of the city's oldest markets, also open from 09:00 to 16:00, local time,on Saturdays.
The Copenhagen Loppetorv has antique furniture and old gramophones from professional and private sellers.
At the Old Beach market, which runs on Saturdays until September, you can find crystal glasses and expensive frames while enjoying a bite at a seaside restaurant.
It's exclusive and expensive browsing those antiques, whereas the Norrebro Loppemarked is popular as a cheap day out.
Many families come along to the cemetery for the day, taking a picnic to eat in the grounds before wandering through the graves.
Other famous tombstones include that of Nobel Prize winner and scientist Niels Bohr who was interred in the family plot in 1962.
