Its true - the Europa is a budget hotel, but it’s a great place to stay. Plus, who wants to spend $200/night on a hotel? It's also a very practical place to stay - it's close to everything, including the train station and the Town Hall square, in the old quarter, right next to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. If you want to go to the big Fallas festival, or the Estación del Norte train station and bullring, they are all close by. Of course, take your pick when it comes to bars and nightclubs. This hotel offers special discounts for groups and is family owned. The service is top notch.

The rooms are furnished basically, however each of them has a safe deposit box and TV. The bathrooms were remodeled in the recent past and have bathtubs and showers. The Europa doesn’t have any dining, however, there are lots of restaurants that are close by, some of which have sidewalk seating so you can watch all the interesting people walk by, which is well known as a European pastime in certain places.

52 rooms in total. Singles From EUR 26. Doubles From EUR 43. Triples From EUR 53. Check In: 12p. Check Out: 12p.

The Valencia Hotel is highly recommended

The Venetian waterfront is one of the most romantic, and picturesque places on earth. The Grand Canal hotel is in a 15th-century building, very close to the Piazzale Roma (airport bus terminal) and railway station. If you want to relax and take it all in, you can do so on the terrace of the hotel café-bar. Nicely appointed guestrooms are decorated in bold reds or dark blues and have large marble bathrooms with you guessed it - Murano glass features.

The rooms are small, like many European hotels, but the service is excellent. They also offer breakfast at the hotel. If you want to find a restaurant close by, you'll find many within a short distance. Most are moderately-priced, across the canal near the train station. If you need public transport, you can get it via the efficient water buses, which go to St. Mark’s Square and many other places within the city.

If you are seeking a nice hotel that provides everything you need while you enjoy your stay in Venice, you have found it here. Enjoy!
