Take to the skies this summer as England teams up with a German airship operator to offer unique tours of the British capital.

For a six-week period from July, five sightseeing flights on board Zeppelin crafts will take place each day, lasting roughly 45 minutes each.

Climbing 2,000 feet above the Thames, the trips will take in famous landmarks including St Paul's Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament and royal residence Buckingham Palace.

Cabins are roomy enough for 12 passengers at a time, with all enjoying window seats. There will additionally be two crewmembers on board.

The model taking part in the tours is expected to be the 75-metre long Zeppelin NT07, which is filled with non-flammable helium gas.

Those wishing to enjoy airship tourism in other parts of the world should visit the company's base in Friedrichshafen, southern Germany or Tokyo and Osaka.
