Vidam literally meaning happy Park boasts 50 fun filled rides and attractions, with some dating back earlier than World War II.
There is a quaint merry-go-round that is more than a hundred years and Europe's longest wooden rollercoaster at one km, which was built 70 years ago.
It's slow-paced for children - the Park even has a mini ride section for toddlers next door but suitably up tempo in parts for thrill seekers.
Adults can enjoy the Looping Star rollercoaster and Super Boat slide which drops riders from a height of 17 metres, flying seven metres through the air, into water.
Vidam Park is open until November from 10.00 or 11.00, local time, until 18.00 or 21.00 depending on the season.
It is 300 Forint or £1 entry and 5,000 for a book of 40 tickets, which is wise to get because some rides are worth three tickets.
