This May sees the return of the annual FIA Middle East Rally Championship to Cyprus.
Hundreds of excited spectators will gather to welcome the world's top rally drivers and watch them race around the island, starting in Limassol, in a bid to win points for their team.
Between May 16th -18th, spectators will cram into the special platforms set up along the route, as seven teams including Ford, Hyundai, Peugeot and Citroen compete to take the winner's podium.
Onlookers can soak up the sun and admire the spectacular views as the drivers brave the hairpin bends and rocky terrain.
Like the famous Formula One race season, the championship culminates in two separate prizes being awarded to the best manufacturer and the best driver. Last year's winner was Naser S Al Aytiyah of Qatar.
Also running throughout racing season is the FIA World Rally Championship. Citroen driver Sebastien Loeb from France has won the WRC for the last four years.
