Covent Garden's London Transport Museum is a must-see for kids who are fascinated by all things on wheels.
With a huge collection of vehicles representing public transport over the last two centuries, the venue is home to sedan chairs, horse carts, buses, train carriages and trams, as well as smaller models and replicas.
Charting the fascinating history of public transport in London and the surrounding suburbs, the museum also displays a number of posters and a range of artwork as well as old tickets, maps and timetables from days gone by.
There is also a chance to see uniforms, badges and equipment that has been used in the London Transport system.
Located in the heart of London's Covent Garden, once visitors have had enough fun exploring the museum, they can hit the surrounding market, shops and restaurants, or perhaps go to a performance in nearby Theatreland.
