Sporthotel Zaton

The hotel was originally built in 1997 and has been extended and modernised several times subsequently in 2001 and 2004.

The hotel’s sporting facilities are excellent and there is a variety of sporting recreation to be enjoyed. There is a 10 m by 5 m seawater swimming pool, a sauna, gym, squash court and clay tennis court. The hotel also has two small ten pin bowling lanes.

There is an indoor and an outdoor playing area and screenings of fairy tales for children.

The hotel has a fully equipped conference room with a capacity of 120. The air conditioned conference room can be rearranged to suit the individual demands of the occasion and also has projection facilities.

The hotel is fully accessible for disabled guests and rooms suitable for wheelchair users are available.

Breakfast buffet brings you a good start of the new day. A wide range of hot and cold meals, freshly prepared by the team of our cooks every day. A varied offer in the organic food corner, typical local specialities, selection of cheeses, smoked meat products, all-time fresh pastry. It will be served daily from 8 to 10 am.

The top of the day is a 5-course menu with a possible choice of local or international meals, festive menu, barbecue, salad buffet, desert buffet, etc. - all prepared lovingly by our Chef.

More and more surprises are awaiting you in the Sporthotel Zátoň bar. For those who do not consider sunset the end of the day and who want to recollect the all day experiences sipping tasty drinks, Sporthotel´s Zátoň newly-opened bar is the perfect place to go.
800 bottles of excellent Moravian wine are available from the hotel stock. The owner of the hotel and waiters are ready to help you choose the right wine and enjoy the red and white pearls of our wine cellar.

Highchairs for children are available in the restaurant.

The hotel is situated in Zaton, a village on the road from Vetrni to Rozmberk.

There are lots of great healthy activities to do in Zaton and the surrounding area.

The river Vltava offers boating and canoeing or, alternatively, is a beautiful spot for a walk or for bicycling. The hotel provides a complete water sports and transportation service.

The area around Zaton is great for hiking, jogging or cycling.

The Church of Saint Jan Baptiste is in Zaton and is the symbol of the village.

Further afield, the small romantic medieval town of Český Krumlov is the site of the second largest castle in the Czech Republic.

Twenty kilometres south of Český Krumlov is the Rozmberk castle.

The Hluboka castle is near České Budějovice. České Budějovice is also the home of the Budweiser brewery and is the largest town in South Bohemia.

The Cistercian Monastery at Vyssi Brod is located on the banks of the Vltava River, in the south-west part of the small town of Vyšší Brod. The monastery was founded in 1259.

The hotel is located 12 km from Český Krumlov, between the towns of Větřní and Rožmberk.
